BRINGING BACK FOOD THAT'S GOOD TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
All S2 Grill locations are hand-picked to be in communities where high-quality cuisine are at a minimum. After the civil unrest of 2020/2021, many of the communities that we now serve were left with very limited food options. Where others were cautious to return, we saw the opportunity to influence and encourage other businesses to come back to regenerate revenue for these areas, while empowering the people who live there with career opportunities.
S2 Grills was founded in 2019 by Andre Williams and Suheir Barakat with one shared belief: our neighborhoods deserve excellence.
What began as an extension of S2 Ultra Bar quickly evolved into something deeper — a restaurant built on purpose. The response to the food, the atmosphere, and the energy made it clear that this was more than a business idea. It was a calling.
When many stepped back from investing in underserved communities, Andre and Suheir stepped forward. They chose to build where others hesitated — creating jobs, restoring pride, and bringing high-quality cuisine back to the neighborhoods they call home.
But S2 has always been about more than food.
As business partners and proud parents to Harmony and Yasmine, they are building a legacy their daughters can stand on. A legacy rooted in ownership, resilience, faith, and family values. A legacy that proves evolution doesn’t break vision — it strengthens it.
